Always so wonderful to leave clients delighted and punters happy after gigs, so it was lovely to hear from our booker for the National Wallace Monument's 150th Anniversary Celebrations for our William Wallace Big Heid Character: "The Big Heid was fantastic and definitely a hit with attendees! I will definitely be in touch about future events."
Thank you so much to the entire Event & Monument team for all their hard work in making the whole day such a success!

After 1000+ workshops for over 300 schools, communities, festivals & events, I've a very, very large pile of Feedback & Evaluation Forms, some of which are below, first being some of the direct quotes featured in the Home Page poster...
"Another highly motivating experience for our pupils from Ariel and her imaginative workshops. Colourful costumes, mind-blowing props and the most expressive of language all designed to engage the children and envelope them in the story." Mr Devine, P4/5 Teacher, Gartcosh Primary School, via email, 2018.
"A fantastic and thrilling experience for both pupils and teachers alike. Ariel’s enthusiasm and commitment to her craft is a must for those who wish to immerse the children in the wonderful world of Gaelic." Mr O'Neill, Gartcosh Primary School, via email 2018.
"I really can't thank you enough, for allowing me the opportunities to take part in such amazing projects of yours. I've always known that performance art is what I wanted to do and, through working with you, this thought has become a reality. Although some people may not appreciate the strenuous work, sleepless nights and immense talent required to make such masterpieces come to life, seeing your work - and being part of it - has really inspired me. If you had told me a year ago that I would be 8 foot tall and going from a sun jester warrior, to an undead horseman, riding in a paper mache demon stallion, to an ethereal angel, performing to THOUSANDS of people, I would have thought that you were crazy! But in the end, it is that craziness, which drives us to create such beautiful amalgamations. Working with you has been the greatest pleasure and it has inspired me to pursue my dreams and make them a reality." Stephen, trained young Stilt Performer, Ardrossan Parade Projects, 2017.

March ended up being a much busier month than planned, and though I often receive hugely strongly positive feedback, this month's collective of workshop evaluation forms and feedback stands out, with teacher comments such as "Amazing afternoon of active learning"... "Ariel will increase the number of children who would be interested in developing their Gaelic language skills". With student comments such as "Sgoinneil, Amazing, Awesome, Epic" and my personal favourite "Actually really cool", I guess the Ardross Primary teacher might be right... |

Feedback from Pat and Plain Drama in Schools Project with the Lyric theatre, Belfast, the Ulster Scots Agency & Foras na Gaeilge "Just wanted to express my gratitude to you for all you did for us. I'm so happy the children, and I took this journey together and about what we've all achieved. It's brilliant to see children standing up on stage doing things they thought they couldn't. You gave them the courage to be able to do that and they'll be forever grateful to you. I still don't believe we've actually achieved it but with your experience, direction and advice, we achieved our goal. Everyone from the school is talking about the show tonight – it's a huge thing for our school. Thank you so much for all your support and patience."
