Burns' Big Head Does Burnsfest!
Ariel was greatly honoured to have been commissioned to create the Burns Big Head Puppet for Perth City Centre's 2018 Burns Celebrations this year and will be heading to Ayrshire's Burnsfest on Saturday the 5th of April!
Building on Ariel's previous sculpture and costume creation work for William Wallace, and her trilingual Gaelic, Scots & English Street Theatre work with the Stilt Kelpies & Tattie Bogels above, this was a welcome deeper exploration of Scots language, with Burns and Wallace even being invited to the Scottish Parliament's Year of Young People launch!
