March 2016

March 2016

Well March got off to a flying start with Biastagan Mòra na Gàidhlig / Big Gaelic Beasties at Aye Write's Families Day, Wee Write, and Dàna-Thursan ri Aibidil nan Craobhan / Adventures with the Gaelic Tree Alphabet is coming up this Saturday at Ionad Sgeulachdan na h-Alba / the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh, before I head off on tour of island schools and nurseries for four days next week. You can also book tickets for Adventures with the Gaelic Tree Alphabet here.

But the biggest news, and it is indeed a wee bit big... is The National's double-page spread on my work here (although I have to admit, I never said I was 'on a mission to restore Gaelic to its former prominence...)

The article also features a lovely shot of some sword balancing by Mull-based photographer, Sarah Darling, for Comar's Festimull 2015. You can contact Sarah if you're looking for a lovely photgrapher in Mull atdarling@globalnet.co.uk The lovely centre image was also taken by my Principal Collaborator, the multi-talented Calum Beaton.
